Goal Reached: International Women's Day

The 2021 International Women's Day theme, #ChooseToChallenge, served as an opportunity to declare how we will show up and challenge the norms of gender inequality. The Brighton Jones Richer Life Foundation decided to Rally Around GRACE Nanana by launching a virtual fundraiser. This would not have been possible without an incredible circle of supporters who not only contributed to the campaign, but encouraged their networks to join them. This week, GRACE Nanana will be receiving over $30,000 USD in pooled donations.

By investing in our partners at GRACE Nanana, a school we visit every year with clients and colleagues, we as choose to challenge the societal pressures that lead many girls to abandon their education and career aspirations. We choose to challenge disparities in social and economic status that face them in adulthood. And we choose to challenge gender stereotypes and biases wherever we see them.

100% of the funds raised will go to GRACE Nanana's operating budget, helping them meet their goals and promote their mission of building a more just and equitable society. Thank you to everyone who joined us in this campaign.
