#OneTeam for Kenya

We raised $1.5 million. Together.

Thanks to over 1,000 individual donors—clients, teammates, friends, and partners—we exceeded our $1 million goal by more than 50%.

#OneTeam for Kenya began with a single client connection and has since sparked a movement. Since 2016, Brighton Jones teammates and clients have been committed advocates and a source of support for our partner organizations in Kenya. Every three years, we shift our philanthropic focus to prioritize international giving, allowing us to raise multi-year funding aimed at building capacity and creating lasting change.

The $1.5 million raised through our 2025 campaign will help fuel our amazing partners in their work to alleviate poverty, illness, hunger, and climate change in East Africa.

This campaign wasn’t just about dollars—it was about engaging our entire community at a time when the need was greater than ever before. Thank you to all who participated for showing what’s possible when we choose to act, together.

The Need is Urgent

East Africa faces sustained environmental and humanitarian challenges, with 20 million people experiencing acute food and water insecurity and many more lacking access to basic healthcare, education, and job opportunities. This comes at a time when media attention has shifted elsewhere, and we’ve seen a sharp decrease in funding for international giving. This translates to higher costs and less support precisely when local nonprofits need it most.

In 2022, Brighton Jones teammates and clients raised over $500,000 to help our partners maintain critical services. This year, our goal is $1 million.
